Work Activity Center

 

The Work Activity Center is made up of 20 multi-handicapped men and women.  Most of the employees in the Work Activity Center work five days per week, while a few work two or three days per week.  All of the employees are paid according to a piece rate.  Several of the jobs they work on consist of light assembly and sorting.  Some of these jobs include:

 

Turn cuffs and collars for Flight Deck Jerseys

Assembling boxes for the workshop

Turning, folding, and attaching tongs to the Flyer’s Kit Bags

Folding mattress pads

Folding informational brochures and fundraising Materials

Sealing, sorting and applying address labels to mail Solicitations

Shredding and bagging of office papers
